There are many available scholarships in New Zealand. New Zealand is known for its national rugby team, Auckland City of Sails, Maori culture, and beautiful scenery. For foreign students, it is a house away from home.
To apply for a New Zealand Government scholarship, make sure you meet all of the eligibility requirements. Also, make a note of the eligibility results.
First-Year Scholarships at the University of Canterbury
The scholarship is awarded by the University of Canterbury to outstanding first-year undergraduate students. The scholarship is worth either $10000, $15000, or $20000.
Bachelor of Business Administration (Organizational Technology Management)
The scholarship is for undergraduates who choose to study at Massey University’s School of Management. It’s worth NZ$29,370 a year.
University of Canterbury Scholarship for Bachelor of Product Design (partial funding)
The scholarship is valued at $5000 a year for a two-year term.
New Zealand DairyNZ Undergraduate Scholarships
The scholarship is only available to students in the department of Food Science and Agriculture, and it pays the entire cost of tuition.
Auckland University of Technology Keir Trust Study Awards (partial funding)
The scholarship is available to students seeking a bachelor’s degree in New Zealand.
Victoria University of Wellington’s Victoria Tongarewa Scholarship (partial funding)
Both undergraduate and postgraduate students are eligible for the scholarship. The benefit ranges from $5000 to $10000. The applicant must submit an application.
Scholarships from the Asian Development Bank at the University of Auckland
Masters in Public Health, Environmental Science, Arts, International Business, and Engineering are the only fields eligible for the scholarship. To be considered, candidates must have at least two years of work experience, be under the age of 35, and agree to return to their home country after completing their studies.
New Zealand-ASEAN Awards
The scholarship is available for postgraduate diploma, Master’s degree and PhD. Preferred fields of study include agriculture, fisheries, renewable energy, disaster risk management, natural resources management, health and education.
University of Otago International Research Master’s Scholarships
This award is to help in providing a fund to an international student who are undertaking a thesis-based Master’s degree at the university. The scholarship includes a tuition fee waiver for one year and NZ$15000 stipend only
Master’s Scholarships in Victoria
A full-time scholarship worth NZ$15000 is available to research-focused Master’s students at Victoria University. Only the stipend and domestic payments are covered by the scholarship. Applicants must plan to enroll in a Master’s degree program with a thesis worth at least 90 points.
University of Otago Doctoral Scholarships
The Scholarship is available for both domestic and international students and worth NZ$25000 per annum.
