Middle East & North Africa scholarships available for Nigerian students

Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar, and other countries have a wide range of foreign policy experiences and exposure. In the Middle East and North Africa, foreign students may participate in sponsored studies and research programs.

Middle Eastern and North African people lead secluded lives, caring for their families, writing, doing schoolwork, playing, and so on. They are also very hospitable, which attracts international visitors.


Listed below are some fully funded  Middle East & North Africa scholarships available for Nigerian students


  1. ExxonMobil Middle East and North Africa Scholars Program

A fully-funded scholarship for the completion of a Master’s or Doctoral degree is made available to a few chosen student leaders through the scholarship program. The Institute of International Education is also in charge of administering the scholarship.

Tuition, living costs, books, computers, lodging, travel, and enrichment opportunities are all covered by the scholarship.

  1. AMIDEAST Bachelor Scholarships for Middle East and North African Students

The Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) of the US Department of State and AMIDEAST collaborate to offer the Tomorrow’s Leaders Scholarship Program. Students interested in applying for the scholarship must have leadership potential and come from a low-income family.

3.The Middle East and North Africa Merit Scholarships

The scholarship is provided to students from the Middle East and North Africa who are studying at the University of Sheffield in every subject except medicine and dentistry.

  1. Boren Scholarship

Boren scholarships provide support to US undergraduate students who want to study abroad in remote areas that are important to US interests and developing countries.

Unique initiative STEM students who plan to prepare for summer programs will be given up to $800,000 in scholarships; $10,000 per semester and $20,000 for an academic year. Boren Scholars must commit to serving in the federal government for at least a year after graduation.

2. Critical Language Scholarship (CLS) Programme for Intensive Summer Language Institutes

The institute offers a fully funded scholarship for seven to ten weeks of intensive language learning and formal cultural enrichment experiences. This is open to residents of the United States who are undergraduate or postgraduate students. The host countries have a few Middle Eastern and North African countries where the targeted languages are spoken.

3. MENAR Fellowship Programme

The MENAR Fellowship Program places top graduates of American colleges at top universities in the Middle East and North Africa for a one-year post-graduation fellowship. The fellows must be able to build a connection between the United States and the host country, as well as contribute to the region’s growth by learning about the region’s challenges and potential.

4. The Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Scholarship Programme (MSP)

Individuals from ten different countries can apply for MENA/MSP scholarships, which can be used for short courses in the Netherlands lasting up to 89 days. The Dutch government pays for it. Female candidates receive 50% of the scholarships in this program.
